The professional association ÖKO-Kontrolle mbH is an organic control body accredited by the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) and inspects agricultural producers, processors, traders, and feed manufacturers for compliance with the EU Organic Regulation (EU) 2018/848, which serves as the legal standard.
The QS food inspection system covers all stages of the food chain.
QS imposes strict requirements regarding traceability and hygiene on all participating businesses, both domestic and international.
Independent inspectors regularly verify compliance with these requirements.
The association Verband Lebensmittel ohne Gentechnik e.V. (VLOG) awards the “VLOG-certified” seal for animal feed.
The “VLOG-certified” label indicates that animal feed is inspected in accordance with the VLOG “GMO-Free” production and testing standard or an equivalent recognized standard.
